The entire cast and crew are volunteering their time to create a proof-of-concept vertical comedy series. Additional information: Location: Toronto. Looking for an actor with: Exceptional deadpan comedic timing. Strong improvisational instincts combined with the ability to memorize and perform long fast-paced scenes (8-10 page shoot days). A subtle warmth beneath the sarcasm. This is a lead role in a fast-paced vertical comedy series. Most scenes take place behind the Lost & Found counter, with a revolving door of eccentric commuters, impossible claims, and increasingly ridiculous forgotten items. Lead. Gary runs the Lost & Found desk at a busy transit station. Every day he’s handed a strange collection of forgotten objects and even stranger people trying to reclaim them. After twenty years on the job, nothing surprises him anymore… or so he thinks. Think Andre Braugher (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) meets Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) with the understated frustration of someone who’s lost faith in humanity but secretly still wants to help.
