Casting call (in-person/by appointment) for student movie “Writer’s Block”. Looking for cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Logline: A washed-up, formerly renowned writer uses an Ai companion to help write his next story, but the Ai decides to take control for itself. Additional info: A non union production. Shooting dates: September 18th-20th, 2026. Actors, please apply for sides and an audition time slot. Also, if you cannot appear in-person to audition (August 8th, 2026, 5-8:30pm***), apply to inquire about the possibility of a virtual or self-taped audition.

An older washed-up writer who can’t seem to have any new ideas. He tries to take the easy way out and use technology but must learn to trust in his own ability.
A young publisher who thinks he’s friends with his creative partners. Ultimately cares for his clients but also needs the job done.
