About the project: Logline: After a wealthy parishioner confesses to killing a child in a hit-and-run, a young Catholic priest must choose between honoring the sacred seal of confession and betraying his vows to seek justice for the victim. Additional info: A non union casting call. Accepting digital auditions. Shooting dates: Thursday 8/27/26 from 9am-7pm & Friday 8/28/26 from 9am-7pm. Quiet, introspective, and deeply principled, he struggles between his sacred vows, his conscience, and his desire for justice. Must be able to convey intense internal conflict with subtle, restrained emotion.
A successful businessman and devoted father who believes one terrible mistake should not define his life. Intelligent, composed, and deeply persuasive, Shawn genuinely sees himself as a good man trying to protect his family while convincing himself that confession is enough to make amends. Requires an actor who can balance warmth, conviction, and moral ambiguity.
