A twisted, dogmatic man interrogates him, slowly revealing his intent to kill and humiliate Matthew for his sick behaviour online. ASH, hired muscle, cracks under the pressure of seeing a man begging for his life. BLAKE, the mysterious man's second in command, proves their devotion through their rock-solid resolve. CONTEXT: This project was created to showcase local talent and make something cool that everyone involved will want to share and use in their demo reels. This project is strictly volunteer, and will only be shared on social media with no monetization. Rate: Non union. Volunteer. Additional information: Audition Location Online-only. (Name subject to change) Matthew is a victim. He's an online troll that never expected to face consequences for his disgusting comments online. And while people may believe he's getting what he deserves, he is confused, terrified, and filled with regret. This role does not require nuance. Matthew cries and wails. Eye drops will be provided on set, but real tears are preferred.
(Name/Gender subject to change) One of two hired muscles, Blake is strong. They're stoic, they have principals. They signed up for this. And while their boss is unstable and extreme, Blake knows that the only way to change the world is through extreme actions , even if they might not agree with them.
(Name/Gender subject to change) One of two hired muscles, Ash is big and strong, but unsure if they've gone in over their head. They've seen the videos online of this mysterious man's methods, but to see another human snivelling and begging for their life? Maybe this is too far. Maybe they aren't cut out for this. Or maybe they're right where they need to be.
