Cast Needed for Independent Short Film

About the project: After her father's death, a young woman inherits her clandestine casino and is forced to plunge back into a world she has always rejected. She must choose between perpetuating her legacy or freeing herself from the invisible weight he left her. Rate: 250$/day (actor role). Non-union production (UDA/ACTRA actors are welcome). Additional information: Genre: Intimate Drama/Family Drama with elements of crime and social realism. Duration: 15-minute short film. Location: Montreal, QC or surrounding areas. Shooting dates: October 15 to 18, 2026 (trial dates). Up to 4 days of shooting (depending on the role). Asian (Thai-Chinese or Vietnamese). Small role. Reserved, observer, and influential. He follows his brother in his bad choices, despite his instinct. Language: English.
Éli is quiet, grounded, and deeply empathetic. He works in the underground casino running the Blackjack table. He carries a sense of responsibility beyond his years. He is introspective and emotionally aware, but prefers to express himself through silence. Must be able to Speak French.
