About the project: On the Eve of her 6th grade graduation photos, a young sudanese-canadian girl's ruined hairstyle forces her mother to reconnect her with their cultural roots, one braid at a time. Rate: Non union. Paid. Additional information: Shooting dates: September 18-20, 2026. Location: Toronto, ON. Seeking Sudanese/West Sudanese performers. Submission Deadline: August 13, 2026.
