No time for distractions he plans to get in and get out before he gets caught up in the whirlwind of the past. But something's in the air, that he can't ignore, no matter how hard everyone tries. LEAD, Book smart by choice, street smart by geography. Determined to create the life he wasn't born into for himself. He's his father's son, sharp, focused, resilient, nobody's fool, and like his father, can't tolerate generational mediocrity;
SUPPORTING, Dreamer. Loves his mother, believes what she tells him because he can sense there is truth in it. He's kind, funny. A good listener. Protective of his best friend. Has a quiet soul;
SUPPORTING, David's best friend. Not the sharpest tool in the shed socially, but a smart kid because he watches and thinks independently. He trusts David and his family implicitly;
SUPPORTING, He thinks he's smarter than Michael and could've gone farther and done more if he'd had support. He's a legend in his own mind and truly believes he can be the Godfather straddling both sides of the law, and growing a wiry network has gained him some middle ground straddling both sides of the law, albeit shakily.
