Lead role. A kind, funny, self-aware tech support specialist who is smart and likable but has lost confidence in dating. Nerdy without being cartoonish. Must be able to play comedy, vulnerability, and romantic sincerity;
Supporting role. Jake’s best friend. Confident, stylish, persuasive, funny. He genuinely wants to help Jake gain confidence and get the girl of his dreams;
Supporting role. A grounded, attractive comic shop owner trying to preserve her father’s legacy. Warm, observant, quietly funny, and not easily impressed. She shows care through action more than words;
Supporting role. The "Boss Babe". Polished, confident, social-media savvy, attractive, and ambitious, she is not a villain — she genuinely gives Jake a chance, but eventually realizes she does not want to be treated like data.
