About the play: In 1935, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the poet laureate of pilots, attempts to beat the world speed record flying from Paris to Saigon, only for he and his navigator, Andre Prévot, to crash in the middle of the Libyan desert, hundreds of kilometres from civilization. Their harrowing experiences over the next eight days will inspire Saint-Exupéry’s most beloved work: The Little Prince. A meditative exploration of survival, imagination, and camaraderie from the writer of the Winnipeg Fringe hits If Day and FISSION: the Death of Doctor Louis Slotin.
