Casting Call for an Indie Feature Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Casting for an upcoming scene in a no-budget independent feature film, and are looking for passionate performers who'd like to be part of a meaningful storytelling project. See the details below. Rate: Volunteer. Food and on-screen credits will be provided. Additional information: Filming Location: Surrey, BC. Tentative Shoot Dates: August 22 or August 23, 2026. The shoot will take place on one of these dates, but applicants must be available for both until the final shoot date is confirmed. Shoot Duration: Approximately 6–8 hours. When applying, (for the Immigration Officer and Chief Immigration Officer roles), please submit your showreel and head shots. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to audition by submitting a self-tape. If you're applying as a background actor, please send your head shot and a recent photo.

PRINCIPAL ROLE. Dialogue: 9 lines. A professional immigration officer who checks in the lead characters when they arrive at the airport. She is strong, focused, empathetic, direct, and efficient. Bonus: If you already own a uniform or wardrobe suitable for an immigration officer, that's a plus.
PRINCIPAL ROLE. Indian. Dialogue: 2 lines A senior immigration officer who is strong, honest, loyal, supportive, empathetic, and straightforward. Bonus: If you already own a uniform or wardrobe suitable for an immigration officer, that's a plus.
Indian, Southeast Asian & African. These performers will help bring the airport immigration scenes to life.
