Actress Audition for a Paid Indie Thriller Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Casting an actress for an upcoming independent thriller short film. More details are below. Rate: $250/day. Additional information: The scene will be filmed as a continuous long take, with both actors playing an important role in building the tension and realism of the moment. Mother–son acting duos are strongly encouraged to submit. While directors are open to casting the roles separately, it would be ideal to cast a real-life mother and son together, as their natural connection could bring added authenticity to the scene. Location: Toronto. Scene filmed as a continuous long take. Dialogue-based roles with subtle but important emotional beats. Shoot date: August 5th, evening (most likely 6 pm, to be confirmed). When her son notices something unsettling about a stranger in the elevator, she quickly pulls him closer and tries to smooth over the awkward interaction. Her concern gradually grows as she realizes the situation may be more unsettling than she first thought.
