About the project: A man carrying the weight of a life he can’t hold together, pulled between faith, desperation, and the quiet darkness growing inside him. As the pressure builds, he begins twisting the beliefs he was raised with to justify the choices he makes, forcing him to confront what he is becoming before he loses himself completely. Rate: Non union. Paid honorarium. Details provided to selected candidates. Additional information: Location: Montreal, QC. Shooting schedule: weekends between last week of September to first week of November 2026. Most roles require approx. 1-4 days. VO roles <4 hours. Submission deadline August 15th, 2026. HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR. Voice Over. Angela is not cruel or cold, but she represents the system Romano feels trapped by. Her voice should feel professional, composed, and human, with just enough empathy to make the call feel real.
Supporting Lead. Devoted, grounded, and quietly strong. Chris is a loving husband and man of faith with a calm presence, sincere heart, and inner courage that comes from conviction rather than ego.
Principal. Warm, energetic, and emotionally present. Cynthia is a loving wife with a gentle spirit, but when faced with danger, her protective instincts and inner strength come through.
Supporting Lead. Nonchalant, sarcastic, and reckless. Charming in a dangerous way, with a sharp mouth and a cold edge beneath the jokes. Devin should feel charismatic enough to be liked, but unpredictable and dangerous enough that the audience never fully trusts.
Supporting. Dark Skin. Laid-back, funny, and overconfident. Marc brings comedic energy to the crew, but underneath the jokes is a young man eager to prove he belongs.
Voice Over. ACCENT: Standard American preferred. Romano's mother is seriously ill and receiving treatment in the hospital. Weak and physically drained, her voice should sound fragile, tired, and affected as though speaking requires effort. Even in her condition, there should still be warmth and love in her voice. She is emotionally strong, but her sickness is clearly present beneath every word.
