About the project: Missing teens and a mysterious app lead two desperate parents into a deadly cat-and-mouse game with an obsessed killer. A character-driven horror/supernatural thriller centered around friendship, grief, resilience, and the lengths people will go to protect the ones they love. Rate: Non-paid. Cast will receive IMDb credit, professional reel footage, gas reimbursement for those driving within 2 hours of Charleston SC, free tickets to the premiere screening, and free merchandise. Funny, outgoing, and always chasing the latest trend, Ryan dreams of going viral and becoming famous one day. Beneath his confidence is a kid searching for the love and acceptance he feels he’s missing at home.
(To play 17) A mixed teen who hides her pain behind the persona of a fearless wild child. Reckless, impulsive, and always chasing the next thrill, Katie is really a scared girl struggling after losing her mother and adjusting to life with her dad, Allen. She acts out to fill the emptiness inside but discovers the power of friendship and family.
(To play 16) A Black teenager who takes after her mom, Samara, more than she’d like to admit. Responsible, observant, and an anxious goody two-shoes, Jess doesn’t fight her way out of danger, she thinks her way through it. Fiercely loyal and compassionate, she’ll put herself in harm’s way to help the people she loves, even when every instinct tells her to run.
A gruff, old-school School Resource Officer who still thinks and acts like a street cop. A Southern good ol’ boy with strong beliefs about law enforcement and protecting his community, Paul took the school assignment for a quieter life but never lost his instincts. Rough around the edges and occasionally a little creepy, he genuinely wants to help.
Ryan’s mother, emotionally distant and quietly unraveling. She copes with life’s hardships at the bottom of a bottle, leaving Ryan to navigate his identity and adolescence largely on his own. Though not intentionally cruel, her addiction and avoidance have created a distance between them.
A dedicated principal who has devoted her career to her students and their success. Overworked and worn down by the endless challenges of running a school, Michelle relies heavily on her teachers while balancing the many demands placed on her. Though she genuinely cares, she can’t deny the relief of having one less problem to handle when certain students are absent. She also has a playful crush on SRO Paul, though he doesn’t seem to notice.
