About the project: Synopsis: The play is set in Dublin, Ireland on Christmas Eve. Our protagonist, John Plunkett—an undertaker in his early 60s—is compelled to review his life upon the return of his estranged daughter, Mary. He is forced to acknowledge his reasons for leaving his family and the course his life has taken since that day more than 20 years ago. Ultimately, the play centers on themes of humanity and intimacy. Rate: A stipend of $100 will be paid on completion of the final show. Additional info: Non-union.
