About the project: Cicily is on her last train out of New York after learning that she must return home to treat her life-threatening illness. While on the train, Cicily’s world morphs into moments from her past, which reveal how she can fix her mistakes and amend her relationship with her younger sister, Angie. Rate: $125/Day for SAG actors, Copy, Meal, and Credit. LEAD Cicily “Cici” is fiercely independent, hardworking, and determined not to let her chronic heart condition define her. The eldest daughter of an immigrant family, she often equates needing help with becoming a burden and sometimes would rather struggle alone than risk the people she loves sacrificing their own lives for hers, especially when it comes to her younger sister, Angie.
SUPPORTING Angie is a go-with-the-flow, fun-loving kind of person. She knows how to be unserious and is very witty, but she also is very firm about showing up for those she loves and cares for. Her older sister, Cici, is her best friend and Angie has always been quick to be by her side no matter what, especially when Cici’s illness acts up.
SUPPORTING Dad is a devoted, single father who has spent years balancing Cici’s medical needs while making sure that Angie never feels overlooked. Warm, an optimist and realist, and very involved, he wants nothing more than to keep his daughters connected.
