ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for "Waterloo" play. See the details below. About the play: "Waterloo" follows Izzy and Sarah, two women working in corporate America. Their story unfolds over two decades and across a range of media (letters, phone calls, texts, emails, onscreen chats, and in-person interactions). In the tradition of character-driven women’s theatre, Waterloo shows how Izzy and Sarah’s friendship deepens and strains as they battle interpersonal and systemic sexism, examining how workplace structures shape women’s lives. Additional information: Show Dates: October 16, 17, 18. Tech week dates including tech rehearsal and dress rehearsal: October 11-15. Rehearsals begin the week of September 13 and will be two evenings and one weekend day per week. Auditions will be held in Waterloo. Auditioners will be expected to present a prepared monologue to the audition panel. They will then be asked to wait in the lobby and join up to 3 other auditioners to read an excerpt of the script together. All auditioners will be notified of casting by August 29th.
