About the project: When her mother pressures her into an unwanted arranged marriage, Amrita makes an impulsive decision with her best friend Jonah: they will marry each other. They soon discover that their plan forces them to confront deeper questions about love, family, identity, and the future they truly want. Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer production. Meals, craft services, and screen credit with footage provided. Additional information: Location: Vancouver, BC. Shoot Dates: Approximately 4 days in late August 2026. This film explores friendship, family, and identity. Scenes include emotional conversations, simulated drinking, cultural/family themes, and a brief non-romantic kiss between characters for comedic effect. Self-tapes accepted until the deadline.
