About the project: The Bridge is a speculative sci-fi short film - a meditation on love, loss, and transformation in the face of unexpectedly losing those we love most. Rate: This is a volunteer/unpaid role. Meals and IMDb credit will be provided. Additional info: Shooting Dates: August 9 & August 13 Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania The Bridge is being produced as part of Trade OFF, a workforce-development initiative of FACTS and the Central Pennsylvania Film Commission that connects emerging filmmakers with experienced industry professionals through hands-on production. Janet is a mother grappling with the near-loss of her daughter following a catastrophic car accident. Pushed to her emotional limits, she must confront hope, fear, and uncertainty as her daughter undergoes an experimental procedure that could potentially bring her out of a comatose state. We are seeking a strong dramatic actor with a grounded, emotionally authentic, and naturalistic performance style.
