About the project: Brief Description: "Satori" follows Frank, who wakes from a coma to learn his pregnant wife apparently never existed — a drama blending despair and introspection. Synopsis: Frank forms an uneasy alliance with enigmatic Sannyasin Sakya to find his vanished family, leading him to guru Tantrik's commune. A pact forms: Frank provides the funds, Tantrik conjures the magic. Rate: Non-union performers welcome. Volunteer or Paid: Unpaid volunteer position; participants receive demo-reel footage usable for casting profiles. Additional information: Primary production wrapped a while ago, but they're reshooting one ritual scene and need non-speaking body doubles to match the original characters. Actors may be cast in multiple roles. Venue: Halifax Regional Municipality. Timeline: Applications close August 7, 2026; filming begins in August. Sessions run ~2 hours per role.
