Casting call for indie short film "Concrete & County Line". Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: LOGLINE: A 1920’s noir film circling around the murder of a sheriff in Texas that leads his partner up northeast to the big city to chase the killer and get some help from a local detective. Rate: Unpaid. Food, film credit, free tickets to premiere events, and footage will be supplied. Additional info: Production type: indie short film. Shooting schedule: 8/16, Sunday 10am-4pm. A drunkard 1920’s detective whose been in the game far too long but continues more for his pride than anything. Must have a trans-atlantic accent.
A southern cowboy that is stern and determined. He puts justice and fairness above all, even his own common sense. Stern, humble, and justified.
