The company is holding auditions for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Performances: November 6 – 29, 2026 -Fri & Sat at 8:00pm -Sun at 2:00pm -Thu Nov 12 at 8:00pm -Sat Nov 21 at 2:00pm Music: Prepare a 32-bar (approximately 60-second) cut of a song in the style of the show. Do not sing from the show itself. Please bring prepared sheet music for the provided accompanist, or a recorded accompaniment track saved locally (e.g., MP3, WAV) on your device. WiFi will not be available and cell service is unreliable in the theater. Dance: Bring dance clothing and shoes. You will be asked to learn and perform a short dance routine. Reading: Prepare 2 of the sides. Choose one from Group 1 and one from Group 2 OR you may choose two from Group 2. You will read immediately after your song.

Archdeacon of Notre Dame Cathedral and the most powerful cleric in Paris, he is the reluctant caretaker of Quasimodo. He will do whatever it takes to rid the city of the Roma “vermin,” even as he lusts after Esmeralda. Calculating, manipulative, and obsessive. Must sing well. Does not dance. (D4-E2)

Jehan FrolloMale18-25 y.o.All ethnicities

Claude’s reckless younger brother. With Florika, he fathers Quasimodo, who he leaves in his brother’s care. Wild, passionate, and strong-willed. Will also play a Congregant. (Eb4-G#2)

A Romani woman and Quasimodo’s mother. Will also play a Congregant. (F5-C#4)

Father DupinMale40-96 y.o.All ethnicities

A priest of Notre Dame and Claude and Jehan’s guardian. Will also play a Congregant. (A4-C4)

QuasimodoMale18-25 y.o.All ethnicities

The deformed bellringer of Notre Dame and Claude Frollo’s charge. Lonely and staunchly obedient to Frollo, he possesses a vivid imagination that brings to life the bells and gargoyles of the cathedral. Despite his shyness and uncertainty, he quickly befriends Esmeralda. Big-hearted, and brave when need be. Must sing well. Although Quasimodo does not dance, the role requires physicality. (Bb4-Bb2).

Clopin TrouillefouMale25-40 y.o.All ethnicities

The clever and charismatic Leader of the Roma. An air of mystery surrounds Clopin, who often leaves the scene in a puff of smoke. As the master of ceremonies for the Feast of Fools, Clopin is witty and playful, but boasts a darker, serious nature when not performing for the crowd. (G4-C3)

Captain Phoebus de MartinMale25-40 y.o.All ethnicities

Returning to Paris after serving in the war, Phoebus takes up his new position as Captain of the Cathedral Guard. Overconfident yet charming, this handsome, strong soldier makes the ladies swoon, yet his moral compass is also strong, and he openly defies the corrupted Frollo. (Ab4-Ab2)

Lieutenant of the Cathedral Guard and loyal friend to Phoebus

A beautiful and free-spirited Romani woman who possesses the strong sense of justice and morality that Frollo lacks. Compassionate, she frees Quasimodo from the frenzied mob at the Feast of Fools and, against her better judgment, falls for the cocky Phoebus. Must dance well. (Db5-Eb3)

Congregants will play several roles including King Louis XI, a Tribunal, a Madam, Gargoyles, Statues Saint Aphrodisius (physicality). Congregants will be a mix of strong singers and dancers.

Mix of voices, all ages (adults, possibly older teens) and genders. The Choir is a separate entity to the Congregants and will be singing only.
