About the project: Welcome to Almost, Maine — a place so far north, it's almost not in the United States. One cold, clear winter night, as the northern lights hover above, the residents of Almost, Maine find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend — almost — in this delightful midwinter night's dream. Additional info: Callbacks (by invitation): Tuesday, September 21, beginning at 7:00 PM Please read the entire play before auditioning. Choose one of the three provided scenes to prepare; you will be considered for all characters regardless of selection. All character tracks include minimal intimacy in the form of affectionate physical touch, including choreographed kisses, as a non-negotiable part of the storytelling. Rehearsals begin the week of September 28. Tech/dress rehearsals begin October 31. Strike is held immediately after the final performance; all cast members are required to attend.
