Seeking actors for the play "The C Word… (It's Not What You Think)." More details are provided below. ONLY MD, VA & LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: Paid. Two words: Girl Boss. She has to find her footing as the play goes on. She is initially underestimated, but proves her worth by being the most reliable, and the most knowledgeable of the bunch.
One word: Beautiful. She is a hard-worker and a positive thinker, and always wants to assume the best in others. When push comes to shove, though, she may not be cut out for the job of art curator.
One word: Slut. She does what she needs to do to get where she is, but she envies others who are unaware of the exploitative nature of the art industry. Jaded, but driven and feisty.
One Word: Newbie. It takes her a few seconds to put together what's going on, and she's there without the proper expertise because her parents are on the board. Sweet and unassuming, borderline naive.
Two words: Smile bigger. Mona has worked hard to get into this interview room, but is constantly thwarted by misogyny. Is this internalized, or is it a real impediment? People want her to smile more, but for whose benefit?
Two words: Hysterical + Oracle. A secret picasso painting turned into the being with "the c word" that could wreck all of their chances at promotion at the art gallery. a mysterious being, and very good at being a "Chad".
