Seeking Talent for Gothic Vampire Music Video "Bloodlight"

About the project: "Bloodlight" is a gothic vampire music video about a woman who destroys the vampire who made her, only to discover that killing him has not freed her from what he conditioned her to believe. Told through dark fantasy, portraiture, ritual, water, and blood-red imagery, the story explores psychological control, harm disguised as devotion, and the emotional aftermath of an abusive relationship. This is a highly visual, performance-driven production with little to no dialogue. Strong facial expression, physical presence, and the ability to communicate complex emotions non-verbally are essential. Rate: Volunteer/unpaid. Meals, craft services, screen credit, and a copy of the completed music video will be provided. The finished project is intended for film-festival submission. Additional information: Location: Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland, BC. Shoot Dates: August 16-17, 2026. The production includes gothic imagery, theatrical blood, vampire biting, a simulated staking, representations of coercive control, and themes relating to emotional and psychological abuse. All physical contact will be discussed in advance and performed according to established boundaries. Required: August 16 and 17. A woman who was transformed and psychologically conditioned by the vampire who controlled her. She is perceptive enough to understand what was done to her, yet remains emotionally bound to the version of love he taught her. Seeking a performer with a commanding screen presence who can move between quiet grief, restrained fury, vulnerability, and passionate rage.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Required: August 16 only - Indoor Shoot. The vampire who transformed the female lead and taught her to mistake possession for protection. His power does not come from overt aggression; it comes from tenderness that carries an underlying threat. He is controlled, elegant, predatory, and accustomed to being obeyed.
FEATURED BACKGROUND/SMALL PRINCIPAL ROLE. Shoot Date: currently expected to be August 17. A mortal servant within the vampire's world-the remaining human perspective in a place where cruelty has become ordinary. He sees the wrongness of the environment more clearly than the vampires do, but survival requires him to remain silent. This is a non-speaking but narrative important role.
