Actors Needed for Production of "Outside the Game"
Seeking Equity and non-Equity actors for the New York premiere of "Outside the Game: A File for the Reconstruction of the Heberto Padilla Case", presented under the Actors’ Equity Showcase. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: Inspired by the Padilla Affair, the play explores censorship, exile, memory, and the cost of artistic freedom in revolutionary Cuba. Rate: Stipend: $1,000. Additional info: Rehearsals: October 21 – November 3, 2026. Performances: November 4–8, 2026 (6 performances). When applying, please include your headshot, résumé, and a self-tape for your preferred role. The sides are attached. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, until all roles are cast.
