Casting Actors for Upoming Video Project
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors for a small independent video project. Please, see the details below. Rate: This is an independent project. Payment is on deferral and will be issued only if/when funding is approved. Additional information: Filming in Moncton on July 23, 24, and 25, 2026. Looking for 4 people for on‑camera roles. Excited to work with local talent and create something special. When applying, please submit resume and/or (Self‑Tape Required for actors). Self‑Tape Instructions: 1. Say your name, age, and location 2. Record and read this line: “I’m ready when you are.” 3. Record 10–15 seconds of natural conversation 4. If selected, you’ll receive audition sides for your role Phone camera is fine. Casual clothing is fine. Supporting Role. Sensitive, artistic, slightly overwhelmed. Plays someone juggling multiple tasks backstage. Needs natural reactions and light improvisation.
Supporting Role. Reliable behind-the-scenes support for quick load-in, setup, and breakdown. Helps move and manage props/gear, handle cable and equipment organization, and perform fast resets between takes. Comfortable staying in active environments, responding calmly to instructions, and keeping the set safe and orderly. Must be able to lift/carry light-to-moderate equipment as needed and follow clear safety rules (no risky lifting, keep walkways clear, communicate before moving items).
