Historical Outdoor Drama about the History of Louisiana from 1794-1824 . Events include the Haitain revolution, The Louisiana Purchase, The Slave Revolt of 1811, Louisiana Statehood 1812, The War of 1812, the Battle of New Orleans. The play deals with such characters as Marie Leaveaux, Jean Lafitte, W. C.C. Caliborne and Andrew Jackson and institutions like Code Noir, Quadroon Balls, Placage and Free People of Color. All of this takes place in Congo Square.
