ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BEC ONSIDERED. Casting call for "Bertie: A Tragedy in Eight Comedies" show, looking for actors. See more details below. Rate: All actors will be given a stipend of $100, subject to increase. Additional info: Performances Performances will run October 16th-25th, with evening performances Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, a matinee on Sundays, and a special performance on the evening of October 19th. Rehearsals An online read-through will take place in early August, currently scheduled for August 6th. Promotional and design photography and videography will take place in mid-August, currently scheduled for August 16th. Both these dates are subject to change based on cast availability. Rehearsals are anticipated to take place September 7th-October 15th according to the following schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday nights 7pm-10pm Saturday late mornings 10am-1pm Tech will run October 11th-15th 6:30-11Pm. A perennial failure who cannot bear to face her own inadequacies. Fiercely defensive, fearful of change, and jealous to a fault. [The current version of the script features a female Bertie, but the part is open to anyone and the gender may be changed depending on casting.]

Bertie's tortured lover. As she grows and changes and Bertie does not she is forced into a series of uncomfortable positions. Confident, loyal, deferent, and full of inertia.

A casualty in Bertie's wake, weathering Bertie's problems whether she likes to or not. Doubles as many characters through the script.
