But as his loving facade slowly gives way to manipulation, control, and abuse, she becomes trapped in a painful cycle that leaves her questioning everything she thought love was meant to be. As the quiet faith of a loyal friend and the lingering influence of her mother’s beliefs continue to reach her, Natalie finds herself drawn toward God in the midst of her darkest moments, forcing her to choose between the life that’s destroying her and the hope that could set her free.
