NATIONWIDE CANADA CASTING! Seeking cast to portray roles in a feature film. Please, see the details below. About the project: Chris, a good man with a recent string of bad luck, finds the perfect woman and unlocks a part of her neither of them thought existed. Rate: Travel will be compensated for the film shoot dates which will take place over the course of 2 weeks sometime in 2026. Additional information: Location: Toronto Area. Anyone outside of Toronto may still apply. Will be doing zoom auditions and/or accepting self-tapes sometime after the audition date. Lead. An incredibly honest woman who expects nothing from anyone. She finds the odd habits and character flaws of people endearing, Must be able to play the complete opposite of this character as well. Loving and innocent, to psychotic and self-harming and dangerous, She is not like Freaky Nikki from "Obsession" and yes I had the story developing for over 13 years.
The Lead Male. Often down on his luck and repeatidly stuck in toxic relationships, he finds the Woman of his dreams. Despite knowing that she has very little expectations of him, Chris makes a terrible mistake in attempting to go above and beyond to impress her.
Supporting Female. A long time friend of Chris. She's one of the most laid-back easy-going, and hilarious women you will ever meet. She has big dreams and is incredibly loyal. She keeps any sadness she may have to herself.
Supporting Male. He is Samantha's common-law. Never really believed in marriage but completely in love and loyal to Samantha. They are the dream couple. Martin is unintentionally funny and obsessed with theories and conspiracy. Often blurs filany. He would want nothing more than to experience a fictional/supernatural idea he's seen in the movies, to happen in the real world.
Friends with the gang. Even though she's wealthy enough on her own, she is married to a rich foreign man and loves to show this off. She is very old-school mentality-minded and comes across as very materialistic.
Pamela's husband. Spent most of his life in France or other European country (can change name depending). Very quiet but also very friendly and respectful. We don't know much about him other than his super smitten, unashamed, romanticism towards Pamela.
Specializes in mental illnesses, but often doubles as a couples-therapist. Intelligent and understanding. Truly believes there is an answer for every problem.
Martin's current, and Chris' former boss. A real dick-head. It's all about the money money money.
Lovable and easy-going in personality, but extremely strict at work. He is Chris' new boss and Martin's old boss. Remains close friends with Martin and doesn't know too much about Chris, but trusts him based on association.
A nice guy. Not the good kind of nice guy. The shy, quiet, and creepy nice guy who doesn't understand why he doesn't have a girlfriend.
