Content Creator Wanted for Upcoming Projects

Seeking content creators for a digital content coordinator role. See the breakdown below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: $30.00–$34.00 per hour. Additional info: Location: Washington, DC (hybrid, on campus 3–4 days per week). Full-time, 35 hours per week. Employees must deliver services from Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on-site. Essential Functions Social Media Coordination Draft relevant, timely content for social media; use Canva to create static and motion social media graphic assets; work closely with videography colleagues on motion content capture and editing; post and schedule social media content following content calendars. Website Support Upload blog articles, draft new web pages, add new CRM contacts, and other needs within the Content Management System as assigned. Email Production Produce emails, including newsletters and event invitations. Responsible for content collection, drafting and editing, list management, and distribution to core audiences. Writing Craft engaging, clear, and strategic copy for digital platforms, including blog articles, editorial, and web page content. Follow and maintain brand and style guidelines in all written content across media. Event Support Attend events to provide live social media coverage and/or interview faculty, students, staff, alumni, or other key individuals in support of content development. Quality Assurance Ensure all content produced is aligned with branding and meets accessibility and quality standards. Digital Media Organization Upload and organize multimedia content from across the marketing team within the Data Asset Management platform. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 1–3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree. 2–4 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidate can contribute new and creative content ideas and strategies while possessing strong writing, editing, and interviewing skills; knows how to read and understand research papers; and has familiarity with a content management system.
