Casting Equity actors for 2027 season show "Cabaret" (1998 Version). Please find the details below. Rate: URTA $762 weekly minimum (Tier 1) Additional info: Audition day lunch 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. PREPARATION: Please prepare a monologue and a cut of a song that totals 2-minutes or less. EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Strong, decisive, but with deep romantic feelings for Schultz which bring out her youthful optimism. Strong singer – light dance.
(German Accent; Vocal Range: C3-G4) A kind, gentle, and optimistic Jewish fruit shop owner, Schultz is in love with Fräulein Schneider. He embodies warmth, decency, and the human cost of rising anti-Semitism. Ever-sunny disposition and a bit of willful naïveté, Shultz does not (want to?) believe his world will turn on him.
