About the project: Evil Dead: The Musical is a campy, comedic stage adaptation of the classic horror film franchise. It combines the plots of The Evil Dead & Evil Dead 2 into one hilarious, blood-soaked musical parody. Additional info: Vocal Audition: Prepare 16 to 32 bars of a contemporary rock, pop belt, or comedic musical theatre song. If you have a specific role you are interested in, prepare 16-32 bars of a song from the show. Movement/Dance: Wear comfortable attire for a choreography call. Physical agility is highly emphasized. Acting: Be prepared to do a cold read.

Ash’s odd, easily annoyed sister. She is the first to be possessed and spends much of the show trapped in a cellar rapping and cracking puns. Vocal range: Soprano/Alto (Strong belt).
A hyper-competent, dramatic archaeologist seeking her father's lost pages. Often doubled with Shelly. Must command the stage. Vocal range: Mezzo-Soprano (High belt).
Ash’s sweet, textbook perfect girlfriend who also works at S-Mart. Becomes a severed, talking head later in the show. Vocal range: Soprano (Sweet musical theater style).
Ash’s foul-mouthed, crude, prankster best friend. High energy and physical comedy are required. Vocal range: Baritone/Tenor.
