About the project: Alan Menken's "A Christmas Carol" is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens's most well-known story. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him. Additional info: Performances will be December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 2026. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:00 PM and Sunday performances are at 2:00 PM. Callbacks: Monday September 21 (6:00-9:00) For your audition, please prepare a 1 minute Broadway song; acapella, with sheet music or a music track. Also, prepare a 1 minute monologue. All roles open - any role may be performed by an actor of any gender. Many of the supporting roles will play at least 2 or 3 characters in the show. If you are interested, please apply.
