"When Night Falls" - Horror-Drama Story
Casting a "When Night Falls," a horror-dramatic story. The story follows Dawn, who is new in town. She finds solace in a group of misfits/outcasts who take a liking to her. Little does she know, they're vampires. The antagonist group are split into two. The Nightsisters, the female vampires who are a mix of fierce, rebellious and moody individuals. They are fiercely loyal to Seth and their dynamic with the protagonist, Dawn, will be a central point of tension as they're tasked to become her friend & steal her amulet. And lastly, The Hollow, the group of male vampires that embody the aggressive, angry & melancholic side of grunge and alternative rock. Their loyalty to Seth is a mix of respect, fear & a shared sense of being lost. This is a non paid opportunity. Rehearsals are virtual. Production shoots in North Jersey (Essex County Area). Late Summer/early Fall shooting schedule.

The protagonist and the "daywalker." She's new to this world, an outsider who stumbles upon a community of vampires while searching for a sense of belonging. Her name symbolizes a new beginning, and her special ability to walk in the sun makes her a target. She is determined, cautious, and a little overwhelmed by the dark world she's been pulled into. She wears a classic flannel shirt worn over a simple gray t-shirt, baggy corduroy pants, and beat-up Converse All-Stars.
The charismatic leader of The Hollow & commands The Night Sisters. He is the antagonist of the movie. His name, meaning "appointed," has been twisted into a belief that he is a god of the night, destined to rule over his kind. He is manipulative and charming, with an underlying cruelty that makes him truly terrifying. He sees Dawn's ability to walk in the sun as something that belongs to him, a power that could elevate his own status. He is Arrogant, coolly charismatic, and highly intelligent.
The unofficial leader of the Nightsisters. She's moody, sarcastic, and fiercely loyal to Seth. She’s the one who does his bidding without question. Style: Torn fishnets, heavy combat boots, and a studded choker.
The quiet and observant artist. She's a talented sketch artist who secretly documents their nightly hunts in a tattered notebook. She rarely speaks but is always watching, using her keen observation to capture the world through her art. She's the kind of character who is a quiet force, more of an artist than a fighter. Style: An oversized black hoodie, worn-out Converse sneakers, and a silver ring on every finger.
The seemingly innocent one. She has a bubbly personality that hides a cruel and manipulative streak. She’s the one who draws people in before revealing her true nature. Style: Corduroy overalls and a striped, long-sleeve shirt.
The impulsive rebel. She's a punk who loves to start fights and cause chaos. Her hair is dyed a different bright color every week. Style: Ripped jeans, a band t-shirt (like Smashing Pumpkins), and a chain wallet.
The fashionista. She’s obsessed with vintage '90s fashion and is always on the hunt for the perfect grunge find. She sees their existence as a form of art. Style: A velvet maxi dress layered over a thermal shirt, with chunky platform boots.
The cynical one. She’s always got a cigarette hanging out of her mouth and is deeply distrustful of everyone, including Seth. She's the first to question their way of life. Style: A worn-out flannel shirt, faded black jeans, and a backpack with band pins.
The intuitive one. She is the group’s "healer" or keeper of their dark knowledge. She knows the ancient history of their kind and is a source of powerful, but unsettling, advice. Style: Oversized, hand-knit sweaters and old, worn-in jeans.
Seth's right-hand man and the group’s enforcer. He’s quiet, intimidating, and the muscle of The Hollow. Style: A worn leather jacket, baggy cargo pants, and a stern, expressionless face.
