About the project: The Pathway to Freedom is a historical drama that follows the lives of enslaved men, women, and children who are violently separated from their families and forced into a life of unimaginable suffering. As hope begins to fade, they discover that courage, faith, resilience, and unity become their greatest weapons against oppression. Their journey is one of sacrifice, survival, and the relentless pursuit of true freedom. Rate: Paid, deferred, and volunteer opportunities are available. Additional info: Seeking talented union and non-union actors for featured speaking roles and background performers. Filming Locations: Vacherie, Louisiana; Wallace, Louisiana; Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; Mount Vernon, Virginia; Charlottesville, Virginia; Texas. Auditions are by appointment only at this time. Selected applicants will be contacted with audition details after their submission has been reviewed.
