About the project: Halloween melodrama - "Sweeney: Demon Barber of Bennett Ave! (and Olio)". This is an original premiere by horror novel author Chris Sorensen, telling the classic story of Sweeney Todd, but set in the hill of Cripple Creek in a hilarious melodrama format. Rate: "Sweeney: Demon Barber of Bennett Ave! (and Olio)": Pay for this show is $500 a week, with the option of working bar/concessions for an additional $100 a week + tips. Bar/Concession work is not required, and may not be gauranteed each week depending on how many cast members are interested in working. "Winter Wonderettes": Pay for this show is $600 a week, with the option of working bar/concessions for an additional $100 a week + tips. All contracts include single occupancy housing, and a $200 travel stipend. Additional info: Performers must be available for both shows in order to to be considered. Please do not apply at this time if you are only available for one contract. "Sweeney: Demon Barber of Bennett Ave! (and Olio)": Rehersals begin September 14th, (should arrive 9/12-13). Opening October 2nd, and closing November 1st. *While this follows the the classic Sweeney Todd storyline, this does not include any of the Sondheim score. Please do not submit any Sondheim material*. "Winter Wonderettes" - (The role of Betty Jean has already been cast). Rehersals begin November 9th. Opening November 27th, and closing December 27th. Show schedule runs 5 shows a week. Thursdays @ 1:00, Friday @ 7:00, Saturday @ 1:00 and 7:00, and Sunday @ 1:00. Non union. When applying, please include headshot and resume. Dance/movement reel. Vocal reel. If your vocal/performance reel doesn't include anything in the style of the "Wonderettes", including something similar would be aprreciated.
