About the project: ROCK WITH US LIVE! is a high-energy rock musical comedy that cranks the volume to eleven and takes audiences back to the glory days of big hair, wild nights, and the arena-rock anthems that defined a generation. Packed with outrageous laughs, larger-than-life characters, and the unforgettable hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, and more, this feel-good theatrical event follows a group of dreamers determined to keep the spirit of rock and roll alive against all odds. Part rock concert, part musical, and all heart, ROCK WITH US LIVE! is an electrifying celebration of friendship, love, rebellion, and the music that proved some legends never fade. Rate: Lead Vocalists: $800/week for rehearsals and performances. Dancers Who Sing: $650/week for rehearsals and performances. Travel and lodging will be provided when working 40 miles or more from your point of origin. This national tour will utilize a combination of entertainer coach (sleeper bus) travel and hotel accommodations, depending on tour routing and engagement schedule. Dynamic performers. Must excel in pop/rock repertoire with the ability to perform contemporary pop, rock and musical theatre material. Strong audience connection, storytelling ability, and confident movement required. Female-identifying performers should possess a strong, supported mix/belt through F5 with legit extension to C6 required for select tracks. Male-identifying performers should be strong bari-tenors through G4 and tenors extending through B4 with a well-developed falsetto.
Advanced jazz, commercial, & contemporary dance technique required. Must be comfortable with partnering & high-energy choreography. Male dancers: 5'10" & up preferred. Strong physique required. Must be capable of executing lifts & adagio partnering. Gymnastics, aerial training, & tap are a plus. Female dancers: 5'4" & up preferred. Must be comfortable performing in 3" heels with strong turns, leaps, floor work, floor drops, & partnering skills. Gymnastics, aerial training, and tap are a plus.
