"Dracula" Stage Play Casting Actors

About the project: "When the young Lucy begins to transform into a vampire, her best friend Mina summons the psychiatrist Dr. Seward to examine her. Flummoxed, Seward calls in his mentor, Professor Van Helsing. When Count Dracula’s lawyer and Mina’s fiancé Harker return from Dracula’s castle in a state of shock, his journal paints a picture of the full extent of the count’s power. As the stakes get higher, the group must race against time to defeat the ultimate evil." This radical new production, based on the gothic horror masterpiece by Bram Stoker and inspired by Peter Weiss’ Marat/Sade, will be set in London’s Seward Asylum at the turn of the 20th century. By the end, viewers may be questioning what is real and what isn’t – and who the true inmates of the asylum are. Rate: This is a non-profit, non-Equity, volunteer-based theater company.
