Seeking Performers for Two Upcoming Plays

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for performers for upcoming productions: "How to Write A Play" and "Words, Words, Words". More details are below. About the plays: "How to Write a Play": Two boys discuss a school assignment while fishing: writing a five-minute play. As they debate what makes a good play, they remain hilariously oblivious to the fact that they themselves are in a play. Acting Style - naturalistic youth energy, playful, and comedic timing. British accents. "Words, Words, Words" play: Three chimpanzees - Milton, Swift, and Kafka - are trapped in a lab by a scientist testing the theory that monkeys typing into infinity will eventually produce Hamlet. Additional information: Performing at the Fort McMurray Fringe Festival.. Rehearsals: 6-9 rehearsals between July 4 - August 27, 2026. Ideally 1-2 rehearsal a week. Schedule will be determined based on actors’ availability. Tech: August 28 or 29, 2026. Performances: August 29 & 30 2026.
