About the project: Victor, a lonely old man, struggles to overcome his flawed nature by proving to a lost friend that he is capable of change. Rate: $250/day + $100 travel Additional info: Filming will be shot over one or two days at two locations, both located in Bowling Green, KY. The defining characteristic of Victor is that he is driven to win. Although it is an unconscious obsession, with no malice intended, his hyper competitiveness alienates those around him. It doesn't matter if it is ordering a meal in a restaurant or pitching an idea to a board room of executives, he has to be the smartest man in the room. And, more times than not, he is. Of course, that also makes him the loneliness man in the room as well.
Truman is an average Joe, but he is no fool. He is kind, endearing, loyal and a bit too trusting, seeing the best in everyone, except Victor. In early adulthood he befriended Victor. A relationship that lasted for decades, but ended when his wife died and he grew tired of competing with Victor. Truman ended their one-sided friendship.
