About the project: When two bodies are discovered on an abandoned farm, a long-buried kidnapping case is reopened. Wayne Guan, the privileged heir of a powerful family, was abducted shortly after his father's death and held captive by three recently released convicts led by a dangerous Zane Dennis in an abandoned warehouse. Certain he will never escape alive, he finds an unexpected protector -- Lei Zheng, a violent ex-con serving as one of his captors. As ransom negotiations collapse and tensions turn deadly, a fragile connection forms between them—one built on fear, loneliness, and unspoken longing. What neither the detective nor the public knows is that Wayne and Lei Zheng had crossed paths long before the kidnapping. Reunited under the cruelest circumstances, the two men are forced to confront the feelings they never had the chance to name.
