Seeking Singers for Musical "Take It Away"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for singers for musical "Take It Away". More details are below. About the musical: "Take It Away" has been in the works for over a year now. In the initial creation phase, explored a devised theatre approach with folks who shared a commonality on how music and movement affect their relationship with their speech patterns. "Take It Away" is now going into its next phase! "Take It Away" explores themes of grief, death, and the journey of acceptance through music, physical movement, and vocal work. What would a relationship with your Stutter, your Singing Voice, and Insecurities look and sound like in a world where they took shape as Entities. ARIA is grieving the loss of her father, while simultaneously ENTITY, KADENCE, and JASON all grapple with their own journeys of grief within themselves. Can they learn to accept? Or will something have to be taken away? Should you take away any part of your voice to heal from loss? If interested, please apply.
