'Space City: A Film Production Destination' (LOCAL HIRES ONLY)
Casting actors to portray a family of four for "Space City." Synopsis: As the International Space Station passes over Houston, an astronaut looks down at earth and recalls fond memories with her family in Houston to Mission Control. Production will also film BTS content and interviews with cast and crew regarding Houston as a welcoming and desirable city for film and television productions. July 13-14 at Captiv Studios July 15 at Z on 23 Rooftop Bar (tentative date) July 16 at Hermann Park / Commons (tentative date) July 21 at Latuli Restaurant July 22 at POST Skylawn (tentative date) Chloe Dao Boutique / Buttermilk Baby (tentative locations) Note: Filming dates and locations vary largely based upon role. Call time for each location TBD. Schedule push in case of inclement weather. Additional: Meals and/or craft services will be provided. No additional compensation for travel, lodging, or parking fees. Note: Images will be used in print, digital, social, online, and broadcast advertisements. If selected for the role, you'll be asked to sign a contract/release which allows production to use the photos, videos, and audio in perpetuity. Only local Houstonians will be considered.

Filming runs July 13–22 across studio and outdoor locations, including parks, rooftops, and local venues. Must be comfortable with pulley suspension in a dark studio, hugging, lying on grass, summer heat, holding an alcoholic beverage on camera, and working at heights. A hard-working executive chef at a fine-dining restaurant in Houston who values family time. Requires basic cooking skills and comfort with lying on grass, summer heat, hugging, and holding an alcoholic beverage on camera. Must be able to carry a child on his shoulders and be comfortable filming at a rooftop location. Filming takes place July 15–22 at indoor and outdoor locations.
