About the project: All year long, InterAct Story Theatre artists create stories with kids and invite them to share their epic stories. The festival presents a series of short plays and stories — chosen from favorites written by kids throughout the year — performed by professional actors. Additional info: Location: Wheaton, MD. Audition dates (by appointment): Tuesday, July 14, 6:30–9:00 PM — Silver Spring, MD. Wednesday, July 15, 6:30–9:00 PM — Silver Spring, MD. Saturday, July 18, 9:30 AM–2:30 PM — Washington, DC. Zoom auditions may be available based on auditor availability. No self-tapes. Prepare the sides (emailed after signing up for an audition slot). Seeking four actors (open ethnicity and gender) who are flexible, have good timing, and are able to adapt quickly. Rehearsals: 5–6 rehearsals starting late April 2027; exact dates/times based on actor and space availability. Performances: weekend of May 15–16 in Wheaton, MD. If interested, please apply.
