As a real estate agent in 2008, Oliver’s dad is feeling the walls closing in. He is simply a man that is doing his best, holding the ceiling up that is ever getting heavier. As failure after failure surmounts, Oliver’s dad receives a realization he didn’t know he needed; that his son sees him as his hero. An old sage with a deep wealth of wisdom and proof that age is only a number. Having been a young girl during The Great Depression, she has seen the consequences of generational trauma.
