About the project: Logline: Juliet and Leo’s date on the beach is interrupted by supernatural forces when she gifts him a piece of rare red sea glass that, unbeknownst to her, is tied to the soul of a malevolent siren. The siren uses her control over the colour red to try to violently rip the high school sweethearts apart and take Leo into the sea for herself. Their Relationship: Leo and Juliet bring out the best in each other. He keeps her grounded while she takes him out of his comfort zone. They have a natural teasing rapport but are also not afraid to talk seriously and express their love. Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer. Food and credits provided. Submission Deadline July 5, 2026. NEED good chemistry between the two. Both must be comfortable being on camera in bathing suits, and kissing in a couple of scenes. Athletic, well-dressed, slightly awkward. Leo is a shy but loving person who thrives on the energetic nature of his girlfriend Juliet, even if he prefers to stay more introverted. He tries to maintain a calm and reliable exterior for her despite an internal well of emotions, which occasionally manifests outwardly into anxiety. It seemed nothing could come between the two high school sweethearts, until a supernatural creature turned its affection towards Leo as well.
Chaotic, messy hair, naturally charismatic Juliet is playful and seemingly carefree, in love with the world and especially the ocean. As a child, she used to go beachcombing with her aunt, and the loss of this one kindred spirit in her family has left her with a streak of existentialism that cuts through her joyous personality. She is often late and forgetful but always remembers how deeply she cares for her loving boyfriend Leo.
