Short Stories - "From the Inside"

SHORT STORIES – FROM THE INSIDE is a crime drama centered around an aging Boston fixer attempting to balance the moral ledger one debt at a time. This project will serve as a proof-of-concept television pilot intended for network and streaming platform presentation. Selected actors will work alongside established television actors with credits including The Sopranos and Law & Order. THE ROLE: THE MENTOR is a supporting role with recurring co-lead potential upon series pickup. Seeking an Asian male, age 60-85, preferably of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean heritage. He is a wise, observant, and quietly dangerous man with a dry, sarcastic sense of humor. A mentor, philosopher, and occasional broker of both crime and powerful information, he possesses a calm confidence earned through a lifetime of experience. The character serves as one of the emotional anchors of the series and, should the project be picked up, will become a recurring co-lead.
