About the project: Carson is a 32 year-old aimless detective who forms an unlikely alliance with an underground criminal Pierrot. What they don’t know is that CoP Holt is also onto them and Carson must act quickly if they want to expose his corruption or be silenced in the attempt. It will be a 2-day volunteer shoot during a weekend in mid-late August, but food and crafty will be provided and all crew/cast members will receive IMDb credits. He is an aimless man with no real dream or goals. Since childhood, he was never asked what he wanted, so he’s never allowed himself to wonder what he truly desires. Instead, he entrusts his existence to his father and lets him shape it in whatever way he sees fit. Upon his chance encounter with Pierrot, something deep inside stirs awake, and for the first time, he starts wondering if maybe there is more to his life than what he has led so far.
(Preferably dark brown/black hair) Pierrot is the playful underground criminal who crashes into Carson’s life in the moment he needed it the most. She believes in real justice but doesn’t abide by societal laws. She has been investigating Chief of Police Holt for some time. She has an unparalleled ability to listen and empathize with people, and hates when others are being taken advantage of. Over time, she grows fond of Carson to the point of genuinely caring for him.
Chief of Police Holt is Carson’s father and the corrupt head of department. Unloving and controlling, he raised Carson not as a son but as a tool he could use whenever the time called for it. He instills fear in Carson, even as an adult. In TDW, Carson and Pierrot uncover his violent and corrupted history, but he won’t let anyone bring him down. He will do anything to silence those he considers his enemies, even if that is his own blood.
