Seeking performers for "The Legend of Georgia McBride" play. Please find the details below. Rate: $1,114 weekly minimum (LORT C, LORT Non-Rep contract). Additional info: Equity actors only. First rehearsal: June 15, 2027. Previews: July 13, 2027. Opening: July 17, 2027. Closing: July 31, 2027. EPA auditions: Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (break 12:00–1:00 PM). Male-identifying. As CASEY he is a charismatic and charming small town high school football star turned Elvis impersonator. A loyal, loving husband who dreams big, if not practically. As GEORGIA she is a drag queen with Elvis, Country and Rock ‘n Roll roots, but ultimately a wholly original creation and a force of nature. Sexy, flirtatious, and powerful. Must be comfortable singing while playing guitar live.
Female-identifying. JO is Casey’s wife, a caring and supportive partner. She’s a realist who’s prone to being fatalistic. She works hard in a service job and it’s taken a toll, but her pragmatism grounds Casey while he enables her to breathe and dream.
Male-identifying. As TRACEY, she is a seasoned drag queen, professional, confident, very funny. Her sharp tongue masks her heart of gold; she’s kind, protective, and nurturing to Casey. Out of drag, as BOBBY, he still has Miss Tracey’s wit and tough love, but without all the rhinestones and ruffles.
Male-identifying. As REXY, she is very funny, feisty and fierce with a dark past. A fairly trashy gal who fancies herself the most sophisticated in the room. Thrives on conflict and is a bit of a hot mess, but she has great respect for the history and art of drag. As

Male-identifying. EDDIE, cousin to Miss Tracey, is the easily flustered, hot-headed owner of a struggling dive bar trying to keep the business afloat. He’s a bit rough around the edges, but later in the play he becomes an amateur showman who loves the spotlight.
